ELEAD Lead Alerts: text messages

ELEAD, a product of Sunnydell Digital LLC, is a referral network for home-service contractors. When a contractor's technician learns a homeowner needs another service, they send the lead through ELEAD to a partner contractor. ELEAD sends text messages only about a specific referral the recipient is part of. We never use purchased lists and never send marketing texts.

Who gets texts, and how they agree

Partner contractors get a text when a lead is sent to them. A company adds the partner in ELEAD at the partner's request. Before texts are turned on for that number, the company must confirm in the app:

[Partner] agreed to get lead alerts by text from ELEAD at this number. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.

If that box isn't checked, the partner gets email and in-app alerts only. Changing the number turns texts off until the partner agrees again.

Homeowners get one text introducing the contractor they were referred to, and after a completed job, a link they can share to refer friends. The technician asks in person, using this script:

“Would you like [Partner] to contact you about this? ELEAD will text you once to introduce them, and after the job you'll get a link to refer friends. Message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP anytime.”

Only if the homeowner says yes, the technician switches on this confirmation in the ELEAD app, without which the lead can't be sent:

[Customer] agreed to be contacted by [Partner] about this request, including by text from ELEAD. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.

Agreeing to texts is never a condition of getting service.
