Someone sent you a lead
A contractor you work with uses ELEAD to refer their customers to you. Here is how it works for your shop.
Partners are on ELEAD too
Leads only move between companies that both have ELEAD with the B2B Add-on. Open the partner link your referrer sent you, create your company (no access code needed), pick the services you take and the ZIPs you cover, and tap Connect. Connecting, signing and choosing a plan happen on the web; after that you can work leads from the app or the web.
Sign the referral agreement
Before the first lead, both companies sign a referral agreement in ELEAD. It's filled in with both company names and the fee you agreed: flat or percent, how much goes to the tech who sent it, and when it's due. If the fee changes later, you both sign again, and leads already sent keep the old terms.
Working a lead
Each lead arrives in your ELEAD inbox with a text and email alert. Accept or decline it; if you don't accept within 48 hours, it goes to their next partner. Then update it as you go: contacted, scheduled, quoted, won, completed and paid. The tech who sent it sees every update live.
Referral fees
The fee you agreed shows on every lead and in your signed agreement. You can publish your own fees by job type instead, like $25 for a repair and $50 to $500 for a new system depending on the sold price. When you mark a lead won, you pick what was sold. The fee is earned when the job is completed and the customer has paid, and it's due 15 days after that. ELEAD shows both companies the same amount and due date. No sale, no fee: a service call that found nothing to fix is marked lost. Think a fee is wrong? Dispute it within 30 days from the Rewards page.
Two partners per trade
Each company works with at most 2 active partners in any one trade, so the partners it picks get real volume.
